InsideAccess
A community-based accessibility platform built from the ground up using the Proffyn RSD approach — helping people with sensory challenges access accessibility content from entertainment providers.
The challenge
Clear vision, no platform
InsideAccess was founded to help people with sensory challenges gain easier access to accessibility content from entertainment providers. The founder had a clear vision but needed a robust, scalable platform that could create a trusted community, aggregate listings, run forums, and enable broadcaster communication.
The approach
Outcome-led delivery from discovery to launch
Proffyn RSD worked closely with the founder to understand the real-world problem, stakeholder landscape, and long-term ambition. We then rapidly designed and built a complete platform — user auth, community infrastructure, TV listings, forums, broadcaster channel, and admin tooling.
What we delivered
Full platform + operational control
A live, scalable accessibility ecosystem with the capabilities needed to grow and operate.
- User authentication and community infrastructure
- Accessibility-enhanced TV listings ingestion and presentation
- Community forums for discussion and feedback
- Broadcaster announcement capability
- Admin tooling to manage users, content, and listings
- Iterative delivery across 2 months as requirements evolved
Why it matters
Mission-driven product at speed
InsideAccess is now a live and growing accessibility ecosystem. The platform has secured agreements with several UK terrestrial broadcasters for regular accessibility listings and is actively working with major streaming platforms to extend coverage — delivering real value to its community and a structured engagement channel between broadcasters and audiences with accessibility needs.
